Counterfeit car seats on the rise
Counterfeit car seats are a growing problem due to online shopping. Though they may look legitimate, these seats often use poor-quality materials and haven't passed required safety tests. This creates serious danger for children during accidents.
Empowering families to keep their children safe
Because accidents as the No. 1 cause of death among, we are passionate about equipping families with the tools and education they need to prevent serious injuries.
At TMC Health, we offer a variety of free or low-cost safety programs and equipment, including:

Safety programming
Making your child’s environment safe starts with you. TMC for Children is here to help with safety tips, free safety gear, classes, and more.
Desert Kids Safety Program
- Free Bike Helmets – Bike helmets for children – ages 4 through teens – are available for FREE. A properly fitting helmet is a must to ensure your child rides safely.
- Swim lessons – TMC is proud to partner with Pima County Parks and Rec to provide swimming lessons for $10 for 8 sessions. You can go to Swimming Lessons | Pima County, AZ for more information and to register.
- Free Life Jackets – Every parent wants to make sure their child is as safe as possible and that goes double for parents who take their kids on the water. Free life jackets provided to children 33 pounds and up.
- Home Safety Kits – kits are designed to target key areas of your home and help to create a more secure home for your child. Kits include
- Gun locks – help keep children safe by locking up your gun.
Safety tips
Kids are going to fall, crash, slip and tumble. It’s all part of being a kid, and we wouldn't want it any other way. But there are little things we can all do to ensure that kids avoid the more serious injuries that can lead to disabilities and even death.
