TMCOne has opened a new urology practice, expanding services offered to the Southern Arizona community.

The new urology office will work alongside Tucson Medical Center, which recently added three urology hospitalists for patients in the hospital. Adding an outpatient practice creates a seamless transition of care for TMC and TMC Rincon patients, and gives new patients access to specialized urology services.

“They are all part of a tightly intertwined team that work together,” said Michelle Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer of TMCOne. “Having this new practice fills a critical health care need for our community and ensures continuity of care for our patients.”

The new practice will provide vital care for common conditions such as kidney stones, incontinence, urinary tract infections and prostate issues. On-site urological care like this allows for early detection, significant disease prevention and timely intervention, leading to better health outcomes.
